Abraham Lincoln Mural on Rear Wall of the Kentucky Theatre on Vine Street in Lexington Kentucky. Painted by Brazilian street artist Eduardo Kobra. His designs feature iconic images that are relevant to the community. Kobra has previously painted murals in New York City, Los Angeles, Sao Paulo, and Moscow. Funding for the mural was provided by sponsorships from local businesses, private citizens and a $2,275 Neighborhood Development Funds grant from the Urban County Council. This piece of art is 60 feet tall and has been contracted to be on this building for at least the next ten years. This piece was completed on November 12, 2013. The mural of Lincoln (born in Hardin County, Kentucky) is a few blocks from the historic Mary Todd Lincoln House, where Lincoln’s wife was raised and just a few blocks from Transylvania University, where his rival, Confederate President Jefferson Davis, was educated. The project was part of the 3rd annual PRHBTN (November 15-17, 2013), a celebration of urban culture that showcases the work of international, regional, and local artists and musicians, run by the husband-and-wife duo of John and Jessica Winters.

June 30, 2002 Bodger Seeds' Flag	Space Imaging's high-resolution Ikonos satellite took this image of an American flag made of flowers on Sunday, June 30, 2002. The floral flag located in Lompoc, CA was planted by Bodger Seeds Ltd, as a patriotic gesture in response to the attacks on America. The 6.5-acre flag measures 740 by 390 feet.
