This was sung on TV at least 3 times:
A football game between the Green Bay Packers and Washington Redskins
A football game between the Dallas Cowboys and San Diego Chargers
And on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno (This is the one I'm really looking for)

She sang a few lines from "Independence Day" ("Let freedom ring...")
then went into a very great rendition of America the Beautiful.
